Q U A L I T Y is everything when it comes to hair extensions. But it is such a difficult thing to measure when faced with multiple brands.
And the reality is, in the beginning, they all feel pretty good, right?
Quality is important when it comes to the health of your biological hair. It’s the difference between extensions that could break and compromise your own hair versus hair that behaves exactly like your own hair does, helping your hair to grow and flourish.
But, extensions are NOT all created equal. From where the hair is sourced, to keeping 100% of the cuticles intact, and how it is chemically processed and coloured. These are all major factors, amongst many, that will determine how long the extensions will last, if they will over-fade, become dry, shed hair and tangle easily.
But, as a relatively unregulated industry, a good marketing team and pretty packaging, you can just about convince anyone into believing whatever you tell your market.
This can be a challenge for brands who focus on only delivering the very best quality.
So, how do you, the consumer and stylist, know when you’re buying the best, or compromising on quality?
It’s actually quite simple.
It’s all about THE PERFORMANCE of the product.
If we were only offering say, 30 days, or 2 months, or pro rata or only warranting certain colours, then that’s how long we believe our product to last. And we don’t 😁
By offering our world-class 6 month warranty, we are telling you that we trust that our extensions will last at least that long. (But with good care they can last so much longer).
So, if all products are created equal, then it begs the question… why don’t ALL brands offer what we do?
