Wow - what a year 2024 was! And what an exciting year 2025 is shaping up to be 😅

It has been wonderful catching up with all the familiar faces of my Gardens Pet Clinic & Spa family since I have been back in Cape Town - thank-you to everyone that came to visit, so special to see you and your fur kids 💛

I know that 2024 was rather tumultuous after Matt and I moved to Canada - it was a big change for everyone. And I want to thank the team for holding the fort while I was away, and for our pet parents' patience and understanding during the teething phase of this big change. It was more difficult than I expected to maintain the high level of customer service that we have become known for, from the other side of the world.

Our patient care and customer service has always been, and still is, of the utmost importance to me. For this reason, I have decided to hand Gardens Pet Clinic & Spa, my baby for the last decade, over to Dr Priyanka Gounden. I have spent the last year getting to know Dr Pri and she is a fantastic vet and, equally importantly, a wonderful person. I have no doubt that she will guide our team onwards & upwards and continue to provide the high levels of care that you and your pets deserve.

While I am sad to be leaving, I am equally excited to see Gardens Pet Clinic & Spa grow and support more families 🐶🐱

Our family remains in Cape Town, and we have wedding plans for the end of the year 💍😁 I promise to stop by and say hi when I am next in town so this is not goodbye, but until next time!

To Groom Or Not to Groom?
