What we offer students:

Ida and her associates are there to offer you as much or as little help as you want once you’re in South Africa. Most importantly, Ida is a point of contact between you, your parents and your university or college authorities. Ida isn’t there to look over your shoulder, but she’s always there to help you whenever you need it. She’s always available to help make connections with among others, faculty, staff, doctors and students. Among our services, we:
Arrange secure, convenient accommodation close to the campus. Meet students at their houses once they arrive from the airport. Provide a personalised orientation programme. Give students a Social History Walking Tour of Cape Town. Organise mountain hikes led by experienced climbers. Organise dinners for students to meet each other. Schedule Medical and Dental appointments and provide a follow-up service. Act as a safety net during students’ stay. For Parents & University Or College Authorities:

Ida Cooper is your point of contact with your son or daughter in Cape Town. Whether you need information about Cape Town and South Africa or you want to be sure someone is around holding a safety net once students fly off to South Africa, Ida herself will be there. You know exactly who you’re dealing with: a real person. If you need to contact Ida, you know your message will get straight through to her and you won’t be routed around half of Cape Town trying to make contact with someone effective.
