🎾 Tennis Elbow – It’s Not Just for Tennis Players
Feeling pain on the outside of your elbow when gripping, lifting, or even holding a coffee cup? You might be dealing with tennis elbow.
Despite the name, most people who get tennis elbow don’t even play tennis. It’s usually caused by repeated strain from everyday activities like typing, DIY work, lifting, gym training, or sports.
Common signs include:
✔ Pain on the outside of the elbow
✔ Weak grip strength
✔ Pain when lifting, twisting, or shaking hands
✔ Discomfort that travels down the forearm
The good news is that physiotherapy can help. With the right exercises and treatment, the tendon can heal, strength can return, and you can get back to normal activities without pain.
If your elbow pain has been hanging around for more than a week or two, it’s worth getting it checked.
