Dr Marilize Truter just returned from the annual Surgicom Conference in Umhlanga this past weekend. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with brilliant minds in the industry and to stay up to date with surgical advancements such as “the new kid on the block”: robotic assisted surgery. Continuous education is key to growth, and as an accredited robotic assistant she hopes that soon more patients will benefit from this cutting edge technology.
