World Mental Health Day 💚
This day reminds me of the responsibility I have to prioritise my own mental health. I was fortunate to through therapy with my psychologist, who helped me realise how often I fail myself when it comes to putting my mental wellbeing first.
In one sessions I said to her, “Iam a good person”. She stopped me and said “No you are not a good person- you are passive when it comes to your needs. It’s always about others. There is no good person who can be good to others and fail to be good to herself. Put yourself first. Your needs also matter”
That moment changed everything for me🤔💭.
So today, I encourage you to take a moment of reflection. Be willing to confront the uncomfortable parts of your life because healing begins with honesty and courage🌿.
