Health Systems Enablement & Innovation The Health Systems Enablement & Innovation Unit (HSEi) is based at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.

With a strong focus on underserved and vulnerable populations, HSEi studies health systems and explores how to improve them. OUR MISSION:

The virus is spread from person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can attack the nervous system, and in some instances, lead to paralysis. Although there is no cure, there is a safe and effective vaccine – used to immunize over 2.5 billion children worldwide.
