🧠 Did you know that color interpretation doesn’t happen in your eyes? It actually happens in your brain. 🤯

Your eyes collect the light, but it’s your brain that decides what you’re actually seeing.

For those with brain injuries, or visual processing issues, light triggered migraines, ADHD etc…
this system can get overwhelmed — leading to light sensitivity, reading problems, headaches, and more.

👓 That’s why Irlen custom -color filters aren’t just glasses — they’re brain support tools!!!!

How do you manage your anxiety?

Anxiety is something many of us experience, and while it can feel overwhelming, the good news is there are a variety of techniques that can help manage and reduce its impact. It’s essential to recognize that what works for one person might not be effective for another. Instead of feeling discouraged when a technique doesn’t work, it’s important to try different approaches and find what suits your unique needs.

Here are a few scientifically-backed methods you can experiment with. Physical movement, such as exercise, has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood. Taking a break and stepping away from the source of anxiety can offer a much-needed mental reset. Talking with a trusted friend or family member can provide perspective and support. Deep breathing and mindfulness techniques activate the body’s relaxation response, helping to calm the nervous system. Journaling is another great option, allowing you to process your thoughts and gain insight into your emotions. Lastly, cognitive-behavioral approaches, such as challenging irrational thoughts, can help reframe anxiety-inducing beliefs and shift your mindset (Hofmann et al., 2012).

Which of these techniques resonates with you, or do you have a different go-to strategy for handling anxiety? Let us know below!
