The Sunday Reset 🧘♀️
Stress settles in the shoulders. Strength settles in the mind. 🌿
It’s Sunday. The temptation is to start worrying about Monday morning right now.
But I want you to pause.
You cannot pour from an empty cup. If you want to crush your goals this week, you need to reset your body today.
The Science of the Stretch:
When we are stressed or "on the go," our sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) stays on. Our muscles shorten and tighten.
Stretching doesn't just lengthen the muscle; it signals your Parasympathetic Nervous System to kick in. It literally tells your brain: "We are safe. We can relax. We can recover."
Try this 2-minute reset today:
1️⃣ Stand tall.
2️⃣ Drop your chin to your chest.
3️⃣ Slowly roll down, one vertebrae at a time, reaching for your toes.
4️⃣ Hang there for 30 seconds. Breathe deep. Let your head be heavy.
5️⃣ Roll up slowly.
Visualize the last week dropping off your shoulders.
