What if you could increase your inner peace through a simple practice? Here’s a quick reminder that you can start the day off well and lift that cloud of overwhelm.

Intentions have a way of connecting us with our higher selves and reminding our minds of what our spirits already know: that even in the midst of life's storms, we have a wise, calm centre. Connect with that even for a moment, and choose one word that expresses your intention. It could be anything: peace, self-acceptance, connection, alignment, authenticity, energy… what is right for you now? Slowly repeat to yourself “I am…(.your choice of word) and feel that energy permeate your field.

We can turn almost any worried into a more peaceful state when we connect with our wise self, and keep our intention front and center.

Take a deep breath and be grateful for the opportunity to be alive today. Then exhale and let go of whatever unrealistic expectations you may be holding. Take another deep breath of gratitude and feel yourself getting lighter. Choose to go forward with calm, serenity, peace, grace and faith. Remember, at your deepest core, all is well.
