Just because you're on oxygen doesn’t mean you can’t own every moment. Strength isn’t measured by the battles we face, but by the grace with which we keep showing up. Every new day is a gift—so we thank the Lord, hold onto hope, and keep moving forward with fierce determination and a little sparkle. 🤩🫁

And speaking of sparkle… thank you for always making me feel like an absolute superstar! Your magic hands and heart of gold never fail to lift me up. I walk into and float out feeling like a Queen—crowned not just with great hair, but with confidence and joy. 👑✨💇‍♀️

No matter the challenges, never stop shining. Oxygen tank or not—we rise, we shine, and we own it.

These amazing students whom I have met and become such good friends with have gotten it right to open up a dedicated ICU at Tygerberg Hospital. They never gave up, through hard work and dedication they have finally gotten it right! Well done guys! 🥼👨‍⚕️

It’s that time of year again where I try and raise funds for the lung transplant unit at Groote Schuur 🫁The very hospital that has given me a second chance at life.

I exercise, I live life and I enjoy every moment with my beautiful family and I do this in honour of my organ donor, my hero!

This year we doing it a little differently:

I would love to challenge all of you out there 💪 to start up your own little charity on our platform, in your name and for the little opi and my charity, New Breath…. If you are up to this, you stand a chance to win 50k of prizes 😊

What is so amazing about this is that we have until the end of the year to donate, 31st December 2024.

It’s that time of year again where I try and raise funds for the lung transplant unit at Groote Schuur 🫁The very hospital that has given me a second chance at life.

I exercise, I live life and I enjoy every moment with my beautiful family and I do this in honour of my organ donor, my hero!

This year we are just doing it a little differently… ANYONE, ANY AGE can go and have a try at sailing at the Waterfront this weekend. All child and adult visitors to the event can also participate in stand up paddleboard (SUP) time trials at The Little Optimist stand and if you not up for that but would like to sit and have a pic 📸 on our boat, make a trip down to the waterfront this weekend ⛵♥️ 26/27 Oct 2024.

For those that are in CT I can offer 10 people free entry into the Boatica at the Waterfront, as long as you enter and donate before or on the weekend!

Morning Family and Friends.

Firstly I would like to apologise to those that I have answered on WhatsApp. These past few days have been a little rough with me battling with some breath. I know you all read social media and this is just easier to update everyone at once. 🙏♥️🫶

I was admitted on Monday and we suspect acute rejection again due to a virus I had 2 weeks ago. We are still doing tests.
Treatment at the moment is again 3000mg of cortisone to help knock the rejection, physio, nebs and oxygen.

I can’t tell you how amazing oxygen is.. to be able to breathe 😮‍💨 again is heaven! We all, myself included take this so for granted… if I can ask each and everyone one of you, if you are breathing and haven’t given it much thought, may I ask that you say thank you. For some of us it’s really not that easy! 🙏🫁

I will update you all and thank you once again for your beautiful messages. I can’t tell you how much this means to me.
