Ikigai Living Welcome to Art Club 🌿🎨

Thank you so much for your patience — I’m excited to finally share your invitation for the year and how Art Club will work.

The basics
• Cost: R400 per month
• Payment: Due on the last day of every month so we know who’s in for the following month
• When: Every Monday, 10:00–17:00
• Where: The barn
• Come and go as you please throughout the day

How it works
• Each month, one picture will be chosen by majority vote
• The image can be interpreted in any style: collage, oil painting, mixed media — anything goes
• Everyone works from the same image, but every outcome will be completely different
• Interpretation is what matters most — it’s your version, your story

Materials
• Bring whatever you already have: paints, magazines, glue, glitter, etc.
• The barn has most basic supplies
• Any new canvas or paints will be charged extra, but they’ll be yours to keep

Choosing the next project
• On the first Monday of every month, we’ll vote on the new image
• Bring along an idea or image you’d love to work with and see if the group chooses it

Extra inspiration
• A mixed media YouTube channel will be shared, offering loads of ideas and techniques to keep things funky and playful
• There’s no competition — this is about freedom, creativity, letting go, and having fun
• The same picture can be recreated again and again if you wish

And of course…
☕ Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available every Monday.

Art Club is a space to relax, create, experiment, and enjoy the process — no pressure, no rules, just art.
