This page is a space for anyone who wants to better understand their skin, their child’s skin or their patient’s skin. A page without confusion, fear mongering or trends. Here skin health is approached with evidence, empathy and clinical insight.

You’ll find clear education, practical guidance and conversation around when specialist care matters- for patients, parents and healthcare colleagues who value collaborative thoughtful dermatology.
BUT because this is also a space for community you will see some of the real me whether it be outfits, BTS of a working mom with two toddlers raising chickens 🤍

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ you owe me nothing 🤍

A year I will always remember for so many reasons but there really were stand out moments that have been once in a life time opportunities that I am forever grateful for!

R&D trips to the likes of HQ and then off to the south of France for an immersive experience that made me love dermatology even more deeply!

The opportunity to continue education through social media platforms but also a masterclass roadshow with that brought skincare to rooms full of avid skincare lovers. The cherry on the top was collaborating to bring an affordable line to the market for those with sensitive skin and rosacea 🍒

was realised and I’m so proud that this idea that grew from a whisper is living and breathing with so much opportunity that it excites me for the year ahead and more importantly the possibilities of continued growth in my career 🤍

I was honoured once again to be a judge for the beauty awards and appear on my first podcast with followed by one with

There were birthdays launches and continued laughter and celebrating with colleagues who have become friends 🤍

All while silently dreaming about more (stay tuned) and being the wish deliverer to my two special children that saw us now become chicken owners 🩷

Sitting here reflecting with a very full heart and a truly grateful outlook on all that was and all that will be 🤍

Final PSA for 2025- remember the edge- let me explain 👇

You may be religious about sunscreen but do you know that the commonest places we see skin cancers are just at the edge of your good intentions because….
🧢 You haven’t gone right into your hairline,
👂 You missed the tips and back of your ears,
🦒 Have forgotten to extend your sunscreen onto your neck,
🖐️ To the back of your hands,
👣 The top of your feet (yes that dreaded slop tan) &
👄 of course the lips, don’t forget the lips.

The saddest part if that you were almost there, you were full of good intentions, just didn’t have enough or wide enough birth of your coverage.

So remember when you next apply that there are very vulnerable areas that you don’t want to leave exposed! ☀️

Since I was a kid I always looked forward to the carefully thought out stocking filler gifts- here’s where I’d typically find my school stationery, a little treat, something gimmicky but often the thing I’d remember long after Christmas morning…

Letters to Santa read hoping that they will make this Christmas wish for life changing small molecules come true ❤️

We speak a lot about skincare and tips and tricks, but the real work happens offline, behind closed doors and after hours mostly. The tough battles we face daily to get funders to provide the exciting treatments we read of and see studies on-to really change lives of our patients -is the part of my job I really hate and love in the same breath!

Using all my powers of persuasion to the powers at be wishing it was as simple as writing to Santa 🎅🏻 Please can this Christmas wish come true ⭐️

How to “suntan” like a Derm.

As someone who’s sworn off tanning and a guardian of “no tan is a safe tan” and sun avoidance but also a millennial growing up with the belief that being tanned was attractive and healthy it’s a hard want to shake.

I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to be safely golden when desired without the streak and more importantly the risk!

So here we go:
⭐️ organised in advance- nothing beats a professionally applied spray tan and .bee_ct
is my go to girl!

⏱️ a little time to spare- mousse with mitt is incredible leave on for 30-60minuted before washing off to reveal a lovely glow.

💣 leaving in next 30min instant blue drops are a great instant non transferring tan for those last minute.com girls which is me more often than not!

Glow without sun- no excuses 🥰

It’s officially silly season-
Dressed up ready for a show and a chocolate chilly fillet only to be sent home to go through MacD drive through (true story) 🌟

We are all exhausted (read excited) to have reached this point but clutching at straws wondering how we get to the end.
