Our mind is stuck unless it transcends the duality that limits it, the frequency of the Ninth Wave can be understood to be assisting our mind to transcend duality and live heart centered in unity consciousness. The Ninth Wave Universal Timing Frequency is felt as Divine energy that moves our awareness in a Serpent-like Wave motion from 18 days of a new rising “Light”, felt as "Day Time" which brings new opening with new Divine Cosmic information, to 18 days of “Dark”, felt as "Night Time" which brings a lull, a time of rest and healing and the application and processing of the new information received from the 18 days of the "Day Time" cycle. Like we have an in-breath and an out-breath, these Universal Waves could be seen as having an 18 day long in-breathe and an 18 day long out-breathe that last 36 days. In the in-breath time can be understood to EXPAND, in the out-breath it CONTRACTS. This expanding and contracting energy can be understood in a Medicine Wheel round of 4 directions each 9 days long, totalling a 36 day cycle of movement in a clockwise direction. The first 9 days the Sun rises in the east, the energies start to expand, the second 9 days the Sun reaches its highest position in the south, the expansion is at its strongest, the third 9 days the Sun sets in the west, the energies start to contract, the forth 9 days the Sun reaches its lowest position in the north, the contraction is at its strongest. In this 36 day cycle of the Ninth Wave time moves through the 260 Day Tzolkin, where it intersect has a bearing on consciousness, this also serves to spiral and evolve time to transcend duality and go through ever changing experiences. The feeling is that we as "Time" are spinning and spiralling quicker than our mind can think, our Light is letting go of the Mind and transcending by the CREATOR'S Heart Centred resonance of the Universe. What happens after the end date of the Mayan calendar is important to contemplate. Nothing is set in "Stone" after the end date of the 9 Level Mayan calendar, what will happen is unknown, but yet we have our destiny in our hands. All we know is that Bolon Yookte has manifested as the 9 Cosmic “Lords of Divine Time" that rule over all life. It is important to understand that because each level has completed its cycles through the 13 Heavens as 7 Days and 6 Nights, only now that the Mayan calendar is complete can these "Lords of Divine Time" do the original work of bringing this world into a pure, true and flawless resonance with itself. This to me means we will go through a lot of karmic rebalancing over the times to come, how long it will take to heal the imbalance in our karma is up to us. Welcome to the Trecena of Lamat!

On January 16, 2021, we welcomed the Lamat Trecena in the middle of the COVID pandemic. We asked, “How can we possibly think of abundance and positive growth” in the middle of a pandemic?

Today, COVID is still with us, but we've learned to live with it, and the world has far bigger problems. Accelerating climatic changes, growing disparities between the ultra rich and the rest of the world, brazen transgressions of international law, a shifting world order. So how can we be positive about that??

It is precisely in times like these that we should not only THINK of growth and regeneration, we must ACT to make it happen. Life is a never-ending cycle of growth, change, evolution. In life, there is always abundance... it's up to us to see it. In life, there is always strength and resilience... it's up to us to harness it. It is always, as the Maya say, up to each one of us.

Just like the little mushroom in today’s Trecena illustration, each one of us has the potential to grow, however big. Remember, it’s not the size but the flavor of the mushroom that makes a great soup.

A lush and fertile sign, Lamat, or Q’anil in K’iche’ Maya, brims with the energy of positive growth and abundance. Lamat carries the codes for all of life, nourishes perpetual regeneration, and represents the seed, corn, pride, harvest, and food. A harmonious and cyclical day, it also symbolizes love, understanding, and realization, and embodies ancestral knowledge, universal memory and genetic wisdom.

Lamat is the nagual of all kinds of animal and plant seeds, and the daysign of fertility and harvests, of prosperity and abundance. It signifies corn and its four colors known to the Maya: yellow, white, red and black—which are also the four colors of the twenty daysigns in the Tzolk’in, represented by the four cardinal directions of the globe. In fact, the four colors and directions are represented by the four points within the glyph itself.

On Lamat days, the Maya plant ideas and new projects along with gardens and crops, for this is the day that all things are made fertile and blossom. Anything planted or conceived on a Lamat day, whether it is an idea, project, relationship or an actual seed, holds a positive future and is likely to bear fruit or turn out favorably, all in due time. This is also a propitious day to recover something presumed to be lost.

Do not judge or disparage those who can’t seem to keep up with you or your progress—nor should you feel guilty for striving to rise ever higher to conquer your own most extreme challenges.

Reflect with your heart, mind and body on what you have learned so that you may apply it on a higher level in the next cycle.

9 Jan is 13-Deer/Manik, in the 151st NIGHT cycle of the 9th Wave….. the new 13 days of 1-Star/Lamat starts 10 Jan 2026.

The 9th Wave frequency is spiralling consciousness higher above what once supported it, as this happens old structures are collapsing because they are limited to lower density understanding… its evolution, the new generation is reimagining our future… it is so bright… the only way to be in it is to live in the heart and as best we can be in resonance with the Sacred Will of our Creator Source of all Creation….. at the moment the 9th Wave is in a NIGHT cycle from 7 to 24 Jan for 18 days, this aligns to a very high vibration to collapse old timelines… these old timeline are trying to bend time to suite themselves and not the collective, the old systems that are failing are loosing grip of the control they had because the collective soul is waking up and reclaiming its sovereignty.

With 13-Deer, 13 completes to ascend over the horizon into the new 13 days… so the 13 days that started with EAGLE, which brings the energy of seeing the larger view, helps us to expand our perspective and by this take new aim, and choosing our direction… and Deer is all about returning to nature for spiritual strength, and the 4 hooves bring stability as they connect to the 4 directions…. 10 Jan is 1-Star/Rabbit/Lamat, initiates a 13 day process of multiplying things into abundance and so it’s a time of the appreciation of the growth accomplished… ultimately the light supports the light of itself, hence the light transcends its dark aspects in its shadow, so it’s important to understand our choose, cos this defines us.

Then it’s 13-Ahau/Light on 22 Jan and this 260 day Tzolkin completes.

A shift with a higher more mature level of understanding comes through to support our journey in a way that is for the highest good of the collective.

9th Wave Shift
7 January 2026, 11-Chicchan/Serpent.

Today’s 9th Wave Frequency shift - from a “DAY” of 18 days duration of building and new growth to a “NIGHT” of 18 days duration of rest, healing, dreaming the new and collapsing old structures, in history the “NIGHT” cycles can be destructive and more challenging.

On 7 January time shifts into the new 18 day duration “NIGHT cycle” of the 9th Wave, an underlying intention through these 18 days can be understood to be 11-Chicchan/Serpent because it is the first day of the 18, 11 creates clarity, Serpent is instinct and desire for creativity, the other underlying intention is the fact that these 18 days are in a NIGHT, time rests, heals and prepares to dream the new design into the fabric of time. And in terms of an expanse or scale of time this 18 days is 3-Muluc/Water, this is also an underlying intention Creation is weaving itself by.

In terms of 11-Chicchan/Serpent.

2nd January 2026, 6-Ahau/Light, flow and completion and honours the memory of the ancestors.

In observing the cycles and patterns of the spiritual timing code embedded in the Mayan calendar we can see synchronicity that aligns to nature and its biological growth…. Today 2nd Jan 2026 is 6-Ahau/Light and completes the 12th 20 day cycle, in this cycle the flowers wilting creates a higher understanding, and then things come to fruition and completion in the follow 20 day cycle, the 13th 20 days of Divine Maturity, this is a time of appreciation of the accomplishments coming from seeing the larger view, and being awakened by it.
