Early intervention is the way to go πŸ‘πŸΌ

This is why early intervention is so important! ☝️

At birth, a child's brain already has about all of the neurons it will ever have. It doubles in size in the first year, and by age three it has reached 80 percent of its adult volume 🀯

Seeking early intervention during these first few years of life can have a lifelong lasting positive impact πŸ’ͺ

Contact us via email at ctkidscentre@gmail.com for more information on our early intervention options!

Chalkboard circles β• What are they, and why do we do them? πŸ’β€β™€οΈ
🎈 WHY? Doing this helps a child work on their bilateral coordination and peripheral awareness. This helps develop their gross motor skills and working on peripheral awareness helps with their reading ability 🌈
🎈 HOW? Draw a large X in the centre, and have your child draw two circles on either side simultaneously, while only looking at the X. Make sure they are drawing both circles in the same direction. Repeat this a few times over.
🎈 WHAT? Here we are looking at how the circles come out - are they the same size? Where are the biggest differences? Did they get smaller or larger in size?
Tag us in your videos of your children trying this at home! πŸ‘
