This July, in honour of Mandela Month, we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of the elderly at Nazareth Care. Inspired by
Madiba's legacy of compassion and service, our campaign focuses on raising funds and collecting in-kind donations to enhance the care, comfort, and
dignity of the seniors in our facilities.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- Financial Donations: Contribute to support daily care and facility improvements.
- In-Kind Donations: Donate essential items such as fun board games and activities, socks, beanies, toiletries, incontinence wear, and mobility aids.
- Volunteer Your Time: Spend an hour at our facility and donate your time and materials towards a fun on-site project.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference this Mandela Month by
providing warmth and comfort to vulnerable elders, whether financial,
in-kind, or through volunteering, helps create a better world for our cherished
seniors, just as Nelson Mandela envisioned when he said, "It is in your
hands to make a difference.

Nazareth House Durban

Nazareth House is run by the Sisters of Nazareth for more than 150 years, inspired by our Foundress, Victoire Larmenier, the Sisters of Nazareth have been supporting and caring for those in need at all stages of life. We do this by living our core values of love, compassion, patience, respect, justice and hospitality. These values are shared by all who work in our Nazareth Houses, making them places of peace. Whatever your faith, gender or background, you will find a warm welcome in a Nazareth House.

We give a 24 hour nursing service and our nurses are devoted and dedicated providing care for the body, mind and spirit until they come to the end of their life span, so that they can die with dignity.

Our Frail and Assisted Living Care have 24 hour Specialised Nursing.

A Chapel is available to our residents.

Families are welcome to visit at anytime during the day.

Elderly Care

Care, Compassion, Patience and Love

Care – Physical care for residents not able to care for themselves and allowing them to keep their dignity.

Compassion – We understand what it is to give up your independence.

Patience – We understand and know how to deal with the changing state of the mind.

Love - Abundant love is given to all our residents and this is their home.

The Outreach Program Caring for an Outreach Program in Kwa Mashu, Natal – Nazareth House Durban pays for the salary of the Nursing Sister who makes it possible for this program to exist. The home also supports the program by means of clothing and food. Please help us sponsor a DIAPER DRIVE for our Outreach Program in Kwa Mashu. We are in desperate need for diapers, any size, any brand. We welcome any help we can get as the cost of diapers are enourmous and it is a necessity we cannot do without.
