We provide 1:1 therapy, school facilitation and remedial support, social skills training and caregiver training.

Holiday vibes are here! 🎉 School’s out, and fun’s in! 🌟 Our friend had an awesome time practicing speech, communication, and problem-solving skills. He showed off his knowledge of shapes, letters, and colours, and even learned about number values and counting objects. Plus, he got to test his flexible thinking! 🤓👏 Who else is making the most of their school holidays?

Our heritage braai was a great success thanks to our amazing attendees 😃 We are thrilled to see friendships blossoming and cannot wait to connect more teens in the future!

We are excited to announce that due to popular demand Guided Strides will be doing free onboarding assessments once again from August! 🤩

The purpose of the Assessment
✔️To guide concerned parents toward the right professionals for their child.
✔️To assist families in navigating the often confusing landscape of therapies, services, and school placements.
✔️To identify children and families who may benefit from the services offered by Guided Strides.

Not included in these assessments are
✖️diagnostic evaluations.
✖️formal educational assessment.

A written report is available on request at a fee.

What to Expect
✔️A dedicated 1-hour intake session focused on listening to the parents’ concerns.
✔️A structured checklist exploring behavioural and developmental indicators.
✔️Informal child engagement activities to help assess developmental responses and age-appropriate functioning.

If you’re unsure about the next step for your child and your family, this free session may be the perfect place to start. 👍🏼
