Arthritis isn’t just an adult condition - children and young people are affected too, and early awareness can make all the difference in getting a timely diagnosis and effective care.
World Young Rheumatic Diseases Day (WORDDay) is a global initiative dedicated to spreading this message and improving understanding of rheumatic conditions in younger lives.
Each year on 18 March, individuals, families, health professionals and advocacy groups come together to share stories, raise awareness and promote early diagnosis - because when we understand these conditions better, we can act sooner and more confidently.
Let’s continue to learn, amplify young voices and advocate for better recognition, early referrals and access to care for all young people with rheumatic disease.
