To all our Comrades Marathon Runners, Congratulation’s! 🥇
You’ve just achieved something incredible now it’s time to help your body recover safely and fully. Here are a few important post-race tips:
✅ Rest & Recover: Give your body at least 7–14 days of active recovery. Light walking, stretching, and rest are key.
💧 Hydrate Well: You’ve lost a lot of fluids and electrolytes – keep sipping water and electrolyte-rich drinks.
🥗 Eat to Heal: Eat plenty of protein, fruits, and vegetables to rebuild your muscles and immune system.
🩺 Watch for Warning Signs: If you have persistent pain, chest discomfort, unusual fatigue, or signs of infection (blisters, toenails, etc.), book a check-up.
🧠Mental Health Matters: Post-race blues are real. If you’re feeling low or anxious, reach out we’re here to support your mental wellbeing too.
