Chaya

Chaya A spiritually enriched exercise method that aims at improving the physical abilities of the human body. How is Chaya different from Yoga and Pilates?

CHAYA(H): LIFE THROUGH MOVEMENT

A spiritually enriched exercise method that aims at improving the physical abilities of the human body through the selective application of functional movements, relaxation and soft meditation. Chaya has many similarities compared to these two methods, combining the physical benefits of both, with the major differentiator the absence of deep meditation, reflectio

n, the use of mantras and the asanas (poses) as popularized by traditional Yoga. Instead, Chaya uses a scientifically founded system to improve the stability and mobility of the human body, something neither of the above mentioned methods achieve on their own. Simultaneously, Chaya celebrates life through movement as it is expressed through our life of faith in the One who created it. Mondays 07h30 – Core
