That nagging cough that just won't go away can be frustrating. A chronic cough (lasting 8 weeks or more) often has an underlying cause that needs attention.

Some common culprits identified in Pharmacy Magazine include:
•Upper Airway Cough Syndrome (UACS): Also known as postnasal drip.
•Gastro-oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD): Stomach acid can trigger a cough, even without heartburn symptoms.
•Medication-Induced Cough: ACE inhibitors, used for blood pressure, are a known cause in some patients.
•Cough-Variant Asthma: Where a cough is the main symptom instead of wheezing.

At Glenwood Village Pharmacy, we believe that caring for our community is our most important job. Last week, that care came in the form of soil, sunshine, and smiles! 😊

We had the most heartwarming time hosting a plant therapy session with the residents of MOTHWA Haven. 🌱 It was a beautiful reminder that simple activities that connect us to nature can soothe the soul.

A huge thank you to MOTHWA Haven and the residents for your warmth and enthusiasm. For us, community care goes far beyond the walls of the pharmacy. 🙏🏽
