The King Cetshwayo Municipality hosted a Wellness Day in the Mhlathuze Subdistrict at Somopho Hills. MatCH, supported by USAID/PEPFAR under the "Achieving and Sustaining HIV/TB Epidemic Control in KwaZulu Natal Province" project, joined forces with the Department of Health, Isibani Development Partners, Wits RHI and EDI to deliver essential healthcare services. These included TB and HIV self-screening, HIV testing, PrEP services, condom education and distribution, and health promotion activities.

MatCH, a subrecipient of THINK-SA under the USAID Accelerate 2 project, supported TB screening, testing, and mobile digital chest x-ray services in collaboration with the Department of Health and other stakeholders during the Presidential Welisizwe Bridge handover. The event took place at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, KwaMhlanga, in the Nkangala District. The MatCH team also focused on community education and raising awareness.

Catherine has been an integral part of our organization, stepping into the role of Acting CEO during a challenging time after the passing of the late Dr. Arthi Ramkissoon in 2021. An Adherent Youth Club at the Nseleni CHC in King Cetshwayo District is improving the 95-95-95 paediatric cascade by strengthening paediatric HIV care. MatCH, supported by USAID/PEPFAR under the "Achieving and Sustaining HIV/TB Epidemic Control in the KwaZulu Natal Province" project collaborated with the Department of Health, Pact, and EDI to support this initiative by addressing key challenges and empowering youth to take charge of their health through activities such as disclosure counselling, enhanced adherence counselling and holistic support.
