On 19 February 2026, APD KZN PMB hosted a powerful Disability Awareness session for Grade 8 and 9 learners at Mzwandile Mbongwe High School 💜♿. The session focused on dismantling stereotypes, addressing bullying, and promoting inclusivity within the school environment and the broader community 🤝🌍. Together, we are building a more understanding and inclusive society for all.

As part of National Epilepsy Week, an APD-KZN Social Worker conducted an informative awareness session at Mwolokohlo Clinic in Ndwedwe. 💜 Community members received valuable information on epilepsy, including key facts, safety measures, and available support services.

What an incredible day it was! 🎊 APD-KZN marked International Day for Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2025 with a vibrant sports and competition event enjoyed by 160 persons with disabilities from our 8 protective workshops. Thank you to all who helped make it unforgettable! 💫

23/07/2025 –Nelson Mandela Day Programme was conducted at Missionaries of Charity – 21 persons were reached. Mobile Barber and Company gave all clients a professional haircut. Social worker provided snacks to 50 persons

12/08/2025- Program was conducted at Eleazar by Aids Foundation South Africa (AFSA) Bongumusa. Fezile and Nompilo. The theme was Economic strengthening. The program was conducted from 10:00 am to 13:30pm. The program taught clients things to look out for when they start businesses and how to manage finances. Meals were secured by AFSA-27 people were reached
