Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Lake, Smit and Partners Inc. was honoured to participate in Life The Crompton Hospital’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Talk. Our Practice Manager, Petricia Israel, presented on the importance of regular mammograms in the early detection of breast cancer — because early detection saves lives.

This October, we continue raising awareness about the importance of early detection.

Dr. Yethiksha Parag, Partner at Lake, Smit and Partners Inc., talks to us about Breast MRI – a safe, non-invasive tool that can detect changes not always visible on a mammogram or ultrasound. While it does not replace a mammogram, it adds an extra layer of insight for early detection.

Big things are happening! From Tuesday, 28 October 2025, our front entrance will be temporarily closed as we continue with our exciting renovations. But don’t worry — we are still open and ready to assist with all your imaging needs!

Here’s how to find us during this time:
- Out-patients: Please use the Main Hospital Entrance or Trauma Entrance to reach the X-ray Department.
- Hospital patients: Access X-rays through the back entrance, where our temporary reception is now located.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these improvements, and we look forward to welcoming you through our brand-new, refreshed entrance soon!
