CAUSES OF HEAVY MENSTRUAL BLEEDING:

Heavy menstrual bleeding can be as a result of three main causes:

▪️Low s***m count means that, when tested, the total amount of s***m in your semen is below a certain amount.

A PH of 7.2 to 8.0, which means that it is alkaline; 40 million or more s***m (20 million s***m in each millilitre of semen) 50% or more of the s***m alive and 50% or more of the s***m able to move, or 25% or more of the s***m able to move forwards quickly within 60 minutes from the time of ej*******on.

If there are an unusually low number of s***m in an ej*******on, this is called OLIGOS***MIA. If there are no s***m at all, this is called AZOOS***MIA.

▪️Sperm count is the number, or concentration, of overall s***m. 40 million to 300 million s***m per milliliter is considered normal. Counts below 20 million per milliliter are considered poor.

▪️Low volume may indicate that the seminal vesicles are not creating enough fluid or that the ducts are blocked. A problem with the prostate gland, infection, ej*******on problems: retrograde ej*******on, certain medications, enlarged vein in the sc***um, hormone imbalances, exposure to chemical and heavy metals.

first menstrual cycle

month )
3) At the 12 months, the rate of conception decreases to 8%
For those couple can not conceive after the 12th months, they are
considered as infertility couple.
▪️ Women are born with finite number of eggs, some women have more, some are less, every month during menstrual cycle approximate thousand of eggs are mature and only one can have the chance to be fertilized bythere partner 's s***m.

1). Eggs and Age

Eggs in the ovaries decreases with increasing of age
Assuming there are 150,000 follicle in the ovaries
▪️ Between the age of 18 - 30 around 120,000 left and this the time of
optimal fertility
▪️ Between the age of 31-37 around 100,000 left and the fertility rate is on the downward trend
▪️ Between the age 38- 41 around 50,000 left and the infertility rate increases at the fastest rate.
▪️ Between the age 41- 45 around 10,000 left and you reach the end of
fertile.

2). Infertility risk and age

▪️ In the late of 20 and early 30, 84 % are fertile and only 16 are infertile
▪️In the mid 30 - 39 , 75 % are fertile and only 25% are infertile
▪️By age 40 the 50% are fertile and 50% are infertile

Assuming the couple are healthy. Remember the older you age, the risk of reproductive organ malfunction also increase including endometriosis and
fibroid.
