AXLE MATE - Wheel Bearing Protectors and trailer services Axle mate came about when i stood one to many time at the side of the road with a collapse wheel bearing on my trailer , and i looked after the bearings.

.Axle Mate is a high quality, stainless steel , wheel bearing protector designed for all types of recreational trailers .Boat, caravans, horse boxes, off road etc etc ....Whatever you tow axle mate will keep your bearings turning and save you money Could not understand how the water got into the hubs. Had a look what was in the market , and was not happy as there was not a straight fit system , you either had to mod your hubs or the product. So we made a set of HIGH QUALITY SS lubricators that will fit straight onto the major SA trailer axles suppliers hubs

That was Fed 2009 - now at 2023 we are on MK4 which has a cover , tell tale, and a clamp nut for the nipple and have over 400 sets on trailers. Some trailers have been 7 years and longer on the same set of bearings and I hear of guys that have done over 50 000 km on the same set of bearings

Did a clients boat over the weekend, points to note.....guys keep the axle mates topped up, even if your boat stays in a shed and you only towing like 100 m to the slip way and back....you must compress the spring to maintain positive pressure in the hub.....2nd occasionally pull of the cap and clean it.....oh and don't wait for your springs to look like this before replacing them ..new springs fitted, pre coated with denzo paste and double wrapped

Such an awesome feeling when an existing client sees the value in axle mate and then orders sets for his other trailer

Client bought for his boat trailer, and ince he received them and saw the quality , he called to get a set for his off road trailer

Also I have had three old customers that have either upgraded their axles, or have new rigs, and they all say they will never ever tow a trailer without axle mates

AXLE MATES HARD AT WORK

So this trailer has had axle mates for Abt three years now,

Customer took it to a boat shop in December , to have new brakes fitted before their planned trip to mozam
They ried to convince him that the trailer needed new bearings, he disputed, they came back and apologized saying bearings are still 100%

That's 3 years of cost saving in bearings, labour, time out your day taking trailer back and forth and let's not forget fuel for your towing vechile

The below is me checking them after he came back from Inhambane, were they had some weather issues with the whole trailer , part of the boat and the part of the Cruzer under water

Checked my special coating on the brake shoe frames and there is not a mark of rust on them

Check the bearings , not a drop of water in the hubs and you can hear from the rotation all is happy in there.

Also that is how you check your bearings with axle mate, no need to remove axle mate, just jack it up rotate the wheel and as long as there is no rumble in the middle if the jungle, top up and go

I do a lot of one on one marketing, I will make contact with you, tell you about AXLE MATE..., it's YOUR CHOICE,, to get them or not...if not I'm not contacting you again, I'm moving on....why...it's not me towing my trailer every year to change the bearings, it's not me waisting money on fuel ,time, and workshop charges, it's not me standing by the side of the road, It is YOU....15 YEARS OVER 600 SETS ON TRAILERS, NOT A SINGLE BEARING FAILURE DUE TO WATER INGRESS OR LACK OF LUBRICATION.... trailers going ten years or more in the SAME bearings

Safety post

This is a repeat of a previous post but it's something that has raised it's head a few times this week and some folks had had some serious problems with breakdowns in some not so Lekker places

You have Mag rims on your trailers with done nuts BUT , you havea standard spare rim

You have a flat and you change the rim , all good ne...NOT

Your hub studs will sheer off as the dome nuts have topped out on the studs, and the rim is not hard up against the hub

Why, the mag rum is way thicker than the steel rim

So , to solve it either have the same mag rim as a spare or have normal nuts in your spares box to secure the steel rim properly

As always , save towing and remember that Axle mate will always keep your bearings lubricated and your trailer wheels turning

I am so overwhelmed with pride, compliments from Paul Dawson, Gregg, Nigel, Jurgens, not just Abt how much money axle mate has saved them, but the fact that they can just hook and tow, .Paul has done three trips to jhb and back, in three weeks, with three year old bearings.... just topped up and towed, absolute peace of mind.....

Update on next production run

Agw new stock will be available middle November......there will be around a 10 percent price increase.. HOWEVER..as I always do , I will let 15 sets go at the old price to thosr who book and pay a 50 percent securing fee.
