After years of trying to convince us to remove this gold crown, we finally removed it for our patient. Hers was a risky removal as the tooth was quite small under the gold. As with all gold removal, especially crowns, you can never really tell what you're going to find. Always be aware that once you take the decision to remove it, if the tooth is damaged too much, a root canal, crown or possible extraction may be needed instead. But luckily, we very rarely have to recommend those, about 99 percent of patients can get away with composite veneers.

Some patients love their midline diastemas (space between teeth) and some people can't stand the spaces. We love making our patients happy and this patient wanted to give herself a change. She was excited to have a near perfect but natural smile afterwards. We strive to ensure the work we do is natural above all else. So in that way, no matter if you fix one tooth or eight, no one should know it was done.

An absolutely amazing change for this patient who wanted to get rid of the silver inlay and crown. It was quite a transformation!

While on holiday, our patient broke a tooth and had to extract it, after it was healed we gave her a new smile with a composite fibre reinforced bridge. She was so happy with the final result.

We closed the spaces for this patient and also replaced her missing tooth with a fibre reinforced composite bridge. She said she was missing a tooth for years. We live for moments when patients finally get smile they have always wanted.

We removed the gold crown for this patient as he was concerned about the discolouration around the gumline of the crown. He was happy to have one less gold inlay in his mouth.

With spaces and chips, it can detract from a patient's confidence. We removed the gold on the right incisor, closed the space and fixed the incisoral edge for this patient and she was very happy.
