What is CUF:
Care Under Fire (CUF) is the first of three phases of . Tactical Combat Casualty Care - TCCC - DoD Committee on TCCC
It is the internationally battle tested guidelines to providing life-saving care while still under active enemy fire or threat. It is also accredited for CPD points by South African Professional Firearm Trainers Council (PFTC)

In the phase, the scene is not safe, and the overall priority is to establish scene safety in the form of fire superiority or control of any threats from a noncombat environment.

What skills will you learn:
You will learn the TCCC Guidelines & skills for the basic management plan for Care Under Fire scenarios by developing advanced weapon handling skills to successfully return fire accurately and take cover, aswell as being able to remain engaged as a combatant even if wounded. You will also be able to apply self-aid & taught how to avoid sustaining additional wounds, while Stoping life-threatening external hemorrhage if tactically feasible along with movement of casualty to cover, if the casualty is unable to move.

The mission does not stop just because there is a casualty. Most battlefield casualty scenarios involve making medical and tactical decisions rapidly. The order of initial actions will be dictated by the tactical situation. Little time is available in the combat environment and there is no “time-out” when casualties occur.
