Let’s talk pap smears, a small test with a big impact 💛
A pap smear is a quick, simple screening that checks for abnormal cells on the cervix, which could be early signs of:
• Cervical cancer
• HPV-related changes
• Other infections or inflammation
When caught early, these changes are highly treatable, often long before they become serious. That’s why routine testing is so important.
It’s recommended that women begin pap smears at age 21 and continue every 3 years, or as advised based on your health. 🔄
If you’ve been meaning to book one, let this be your reminder. It’s one of the kindest things you can do for your future self 💛
