Our Story
This dermatology practice has been open since 2015 and is run by Dr Nicola Salmon.
Services offered include skin cancer screening, mole mapping, minor surgery, cryotherapy, curette and cautery, paediatric dermatology and general dermatology. Dr Nicola Salmon completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2001. She did her Internship and Community Service at Baragwanath Hospital and the then Helen Joseph complex in Johannesburg, where after Dr Salmon worked in private Accident and Emergency departments before heading to the United Kingdom (UK) in 2004.
In the UK, Dr Salmon worked in Accident and Emergency and then Internal medicine until 2006. She attained her Diploma in Clinical Dermatology through the Queen Mary University of London in 2007 which developed her interest in dermatology and went on to acquire her training post to specialise in Dermatology with the London Deanery. Dr Salmon acquired her membership of the Royal College of Physicians with her specialty exam in Dermatology in 2009.
The majority of her dermatology training was at The University College London Hospital and The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where she was fortunate enough to work alongside and be mentored by internationally respected and esteemed dermatology consultants.
