World Sight Day at Richards Bay Medical Institute

A vibrant crowd of attendees joined the Richards Bay Medical Institute to learn about the importance of eye health and raise awareness around glaucoma. The energy was inspiring, the conversations enlightening, and the commitment to better vision truly heart warming.

A special highlight of the day was a fun-filled competition, where 50 lucky winners received free eye tests that were generously donated by Dr. S. Singh, Resident Specialist Ophthalmologist.

A huge thank you to the many healthcare partners who helped make this event such a success. Your support, collaboration, and shared commitment to community wellness made all the difference.

This past weekend, the JMH team proudly joined the Annual Mental Health Walk hosted by the KZN Health Advocacy Group. This powerful event is dedicated to raising awareness, fostering connections, and breaking the stigma around mental health.

Walking side by side with our community, we reaffirmed our commitment to creating safe spaces where it's okay to not be okay and more so to talk about it. Whether you're struggling or simply need someone to listen, reaching out is the first step. You're never alone.
