👩‍🦽 Funding for OCC available 🎉

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for partial sponsorshipto attend the Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge on 21 February 2026 in George.

With limited funding available, sponsorships will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Proof of ability to contribute to the surplus will need to be provided.

Applications close on 5 February. Late applications will not be considered.

QASA members currently enrolled at a university or college for 2026 can apply for funding through the QASA Education Fund.

To apply, you need to be:
➡️ A current QASA member;
➡️ Already registered at a learning institution.
➡️ From a disadvantaged background; and
➡️ In need of assistance with funding.

Diving into unknown waters can result in spinal cord injuries!

Seven young men sustain a spinal cord injury over the festive season after diving into waters.

We encourage the public to always check the water, dive feet-first, and avoid alcohol while diving.
