THE DIVINE MATRIX, THE INTRICATE COMPLEXITY OF LIFE

You might have been thinking and acting like you were the only one in the dream creating your life. The Galactic Mushroom arrives as a playful yet potent reminder that you need to get with your Higher Power. The universal laws are not for your benefit only. The law of attraction does not exist just to serve up your desired outcome.

The matrix of Consciousness called Source (or God, Spirit, and many other names) is intricately woven into life. There is so much complexity that the human mind cannot comprehend all the moving parts. It’s impossible to see beyond what you already know, just as the head of a mushroom is clearly visible above the soil but not the living biome below. The threadlike mycelium of fungi form vast, intricate networks underground, connecting different life-forms with one another in a kind of “internet” of the plant kingdom. Imagine the Divine Matrix serving the same way, connecting the individual consciousness with that of the Divine.

The Galactic Mushroom reminds you that your dreams and desires are heard. This is a call for faith and trust. MOVEMENT TOWARD ADVENTURE, ADDICTION TO PROBLEMS, ALLOWING AND TRUSTING THE CURRENT

The Spirit of the River invites you to step into the flow, to stop swimming against or avoiding the current. Allow the waters to carry you downstream, away from the eddies and whirlpools. It’s time to heed the call of a new adventure waiting for you.

Stop working on the problem for a while. The issue is not what it seems; it is your addiction to fixing what has gone bad that is consuming so much of your time. Work to create a greater good, and the bad will resolve itself on its own. There is nothing that you can accomplish with more “efforting,” as the situations in your life right now are subject to forces beyond your control. Recognize this, step back, and trust the flow. There is no loss of face or lack of honor or integrity. It is simply the way things are at this moment.

When this card appears, it is time to say yes to the next leg of your journey. Your life is like a river, inevitably and inexorably flowing to the sea, which is your divine destination. Be fearless and release yourself to the rushing water in the middle of the stream. Whatever it is you are holding on to—the feelings, the thoughts, the beliefs about how things are or how they should or could be—can be fixed easily with the power of the Spirit of the River. THE OTHER, MOVING PAST FEAR OF DIFFERENCES, CURIOSITY AND ACCEPTANCE

The Stranger moves through the world in a shroud of darkness that often elicits fear, rejection, and uncertainty, as the danger of the unknown defines its very presence. Yes, there is a veil of separation between you. Look closer and summon the courage to remain open to what you might find. You may be conditioned to look only for what mirrors what is safe and known to you, refusing to entertain any concept of “Other” beyond something to fear. In order to broaden your world and your experience of it, you must refute the illusion that sameness is the only way. Nothing you expect externally matches up with the Other, and you’re challenged by your own inexperience, but don’t miss this opportunity for learning.

Something extraordinary is being offered to you now if you remain curious and teachable. Allow the newness to envelop you as you explore the possibilities. This is a departure from your expectations, but the Stranger has come to invite you to dance to a new music, a new tempo, a new sensation that will add more dimension to you and what you create as a result. Now is the time to leave room for other points of view, other ways of seeing with humility and grace.

This is a defining moment. Take the risk. Life is like a precious diamond with many facets, not just one.

CONNECTIVITY, NO SEPARATION, THE FEELING STATE

Approaching any oracle requires you to come in with certain expectations. You’re either looking for confirmation of what you already know or attempting to shed light on what eludes you on the obvious path you’re on. You’re asking whether you will reach a desired goal of some kind. You’re rarely able to see beyond memory or projection. And so, naturally, everyone comes to the oracle with a narrow perception of what’s possible.

Imagine that the answer to your question is not about “landing” at a particular destination, meeting a goal, connecting to a special lover, reaching an end game, or experiencing anything specific. Instead, you discover a shimmering web of jewels you didn’t know existed! The world is interconnected in a living web of energy. It isn’t possible to “know” how any of it works, but know this: what is in your highest good is a sparkling jewel that lights up for you among this web of possibilities. You just need to know how you want to feel, and choose this consciously.

Take your focus off getting anywhere; practice feeling and being in a place where your desired experience has already come to pass. Who will you be when this is true for you? Can you be that now? Feel that now? Practice that—the better you know your path within this web of life, the more it will light up for you. It is celebrating you already.

Light for Peace

I have a special request if I may. There are so many of us powerful souls in this group. In light of what happened today, the havoc and pain and suffering the various bombs have created in the world, along with all the other atrocities that are coming to light, please may we join together and light a candle with the clear intention of peace and calm and healing for all.

Let us send love and peace to all that are suffering, injured, scared and alone on a global scale, right down to all of us as individuals.

Let us remember our power, our divinity and our unity. The power of love can and will overcome the love of power. And so it is.

FEELING SECURE, TAKEN CARE OF, THE UNIVERSE IS YOUR PARTNER

Something amazing happens when you contemplate your intimate relationship with your Higher Power. How do you engage it? Perhaps you might have seen things through the influence of your religious background, or you may have been exposed to other ways of making that connection real for you. It doesn’t matter the source of your understanding; what matters is what works for you. For example, if you believe in a punitive God, you will be afraid of punishment for your transgressions. If you believe in a version of a Higher Power that blesses you, you may find it easier to surrender to a relationship of radical trust.

Right now, if you imagine relaxing, curled up in the hands of the Divine, how does that make you feel? Can you then turn over your needs and desires to that Divine Power and trust that you’re safe and secure and don’t have to do anything at all to feel that way? Grace is activated in your life now. You’re in good hands: your work, family, relationships, home—everything. You’ve done all you can, so now is the time to rest and recharge instead of producing, doing, acting, strategizing. A hot tea, a good book, and a soft blanket are in order.

ADAPTABILITY, STRONG ROOTS, GROWTH

The Woodwives dance into your dreams as a reminder to be grounded no matter what life offers you. You need to know who you are, what you’ll tolerate, what you’ve learned to date, and what boundaries to set so you feel good about yourself. Life is going to offer you something extraordinary now, and in order to learn and receive its blessings, you must remember that being grounded gives you more freedom, not less.

You have everything you need; you have all it takes to do this right now. If you also keep reminding yourself to be flexible, you will be amazed by how well things play out for you. The Woodwives are both wisdom keepers and students of the new world, as these forest spirits have an uncanny ability to adapt to changing circumstances and always find the perfect way to grow and expand. They represent what you already know how to do.

Learn. Be in beginner’s mind. Let go of your rigid notions of how things “should” be, and be present to what is right now, unencumbered by your projections. Is there a storm brewing because things need to change? No worries—nothing can uproot you now, and it will pass, and you will dance with nature and move with it all.

Perhaps you’re being given an opportunity to take a chance on something new, and you’re not sure how far you can go without losing your footing. Have no fear, for when you remember your roots—your integrity, your authentic self—you can stretch yourself beyond the invisible line you drew. Go for it. You will be so glad you did.

THE OBJECT OF AFFECTION, RADICAL ACCEPTANCE, LOVING WHAT IS

When the Beloved appears, it requires 100 percent of your heart, body, and soul. Don’t try to “squeeze” the Beloved into your schedule—drop the busyness and receive the one you have been waiting for. Know that this card comes as a mirror to show you the Divine within and invite your radical acceptance of everything you consider beautiful or ugly in your being.

The Beloved may not be a person at all. It might be a business venture, a project, or an adventure calling for your full attention. Love it, let it light you up, and give it your all. Surrender to this truth and know that you are gaining a passport to bliss, even when it feels that you are being consumed by the fire of the Beloved. Do not hold back or be afraid, for you will emerge transformed. Surrender is the key; allow yourself to be loved! Usher the harsh critic out the door and shut your eyes and ears to the judgment of others who have not been ignited by the divine blaze consuming you, for they will only attempt to douse your fire and leave you choking on the smoke.

Be careful you are not seduced by false promises or falling prey to your extraordinary ability to sabotage your dreams and desires. Sync with and sink into your heart and trust your sense of what is true, and you will know what to do. The true Beloved is never false; every gift proffered is valuable.
