To my last baby,

You are the one who made me realize how quickly it all goes. With you, every milestone feels both magical and heartbreaking. Every “first” reminds me it’s also the last time I’ll ever watch one of my babies do it.

You’ll never know the mum who was nervous, overwhelmed, and learning as she went. You get the mum who knows how precious these moments are, who lingers longer in the rocking chair, who kisses you a little more slowly, who memorizes the way your tiny hand fits in hers.

You’ll never be the “first,” but you’ll always be the one who taught me to savor the last.

And for that, my love, you’ll always have the most patient, most grateful, most tender version of me. 💛
