It is with heartfelt sorrow that we mourn the passing of Dr. K.C. Dhavaraj, a respected gynaecologist and cherished member of our medical community.

Dr. Dhavaraj dedicated his life to the service of others — working tirelessly to care for women and families with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment. Beyond his medical expertise, he was a man deeply devoted to uplifting the community and guiding younger practitioners with wisdom and humility.

At Daymed Private Hospital, we were honoured to work alongside someone whose presence brought comfort, care, and dignity to all who knew him.

His passing leaves a profound void, but his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the community he so selflessly served.

What I need isn't a break from my kids, but from all the other stuff.

I'm talking about the constant laundry, those mountains of dishes, and the crumbs that magically reappear under the table every morning. Oh, and that to-do list that never gets any shorter!

But my kids? Never them. I don't need a break from their little hands, their voices calling out "Mama," their happy giggles, their wild energy, or their sweet cuddles.

They're my peace.

They pull me back to the moment when everything else feels like too much.
They're my reminder of why I keep pushing forward.

It's not being their Momma that's really hard; it's all the distractions that try to take me away from it

Because of this, I can only take on one postpartum client per month. If you’re pregnant and want dedicated, one-on-one postpartum support, be sure to book in advance to secure your space.

Being a Birth Doula is a journey of ebbs and flows, much like the seasons of life. There are moments when I can dive fully into the magic of birth work, and others when I need to step back and honour the shifting priorities in my own life.

This doesn’t mean goodbye, but rather a gentle pause as I focus on this chapter with my family.

Through it all, I remain deeply committed to supporting moms in other ways—offering pregnancy massage, postpartum care, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, and so much more at the practice.

To every mom I’ve walked alongside in this journey, thank you for trusting me in your most vulnerable and powerful moments. This work is my passion, and I’ll be back to births when the season is right again. 💕
