Four years ago, I became a mom. While I may have given her life, she gave me the gift of becoming a mother ❤️

A heartbeat whispers, soft and new,
A tiny soul beneath my view.
I gave her life with love and care,
But she gave me something far more rare.

Yet in her eyes, the world feels pure.

She makes each moment worth the while.

She came so small, a miracle so bright,

Hi again, everyone! 👋 It’s me, Dr. Carmen Hawker, back in action with a fresh look and a lot of updates to share. Yep, I’m now a brunette 💁🏽‍♀️ parted ways with my blonde days (more like broke up with blonde 😂). I’m 8 weeks postpartum and loving every moment with my little cherub, despite the challenges of her being a reflux baby. I’m slowly stepping back into the social scene, ready to share more of my journey with you all, and get back belong and educating as much as I can. And the big news? I’ll be back at the Westville practice in a few weeks, though just a couple of mornings a week. It’s been an incredible break, but I’m thrilled to return. Sending lots of love and light as aways ✨
