Messages like this remind us why we do what we do!!!

Vaginismus is more common than most people think but it does not have to be your permanent reality.

We are so proud of our patient for her dedication to her healing journey. Such a powerful milestone for a patient who along with her husband, waited YEARS to overcome vaginismus!

Today we are celebrating her moving from a place of pain and fear to one of confidence and comfort. Her journey is a reminder that with the right support, patience and specialised care, healing is absolutely possible! Alhamdulillah!

Our treatment plan is designed to help you both overcome the vaginismus as well as consummate your marriage within six sessions that we space out over 10 to 12 weeks.

Progress isn't always linear but it is always worth it. Each person's journey is different and some achieve their goals earlier, others later but watching a patient re/gain agency over their body after the struggle of vaginismus, is the ultimate reward!

Attached to my practice consent form, I have a list of peri/menopause symptoms for women 35 and older. This is because previously, when we heard about peri/menopause, we predominantly heard about hot flashes, weight gain and vaginal dryness. But what if you don't experience that?

I have listed a number of possible peri/menopause symptoms on my reel. This list is not comprehensive. Also, please refer to previous posts for the difference between a symptom and a sign.

Women's reproductive and sexual health are intricately linked with other body systems. They do not operate in isolation. They are part of a complex network where the health and function of other systems, such as the endocrine, nervous, cardiovascular, and even digestive systems, can significantly impact them.

The interconnectedness of women's reproductive and sexual health with other body systems is a field of research that is just beginning to be fully explored. As we continue to deepen our understanding of these connections, we are able to develop more effective, personalized, and preventative care for women.

What's your #1 perimenopause gripe?
