If you're feeling a bit lost about 'how' to meditate or not even sure where to start, here are some tips that should help you to get going 💭
✨The reality is that often there is noise around us so it can be difficult to find some silence. When I want to meditate but can't find a quiet space, I usually put some headphones in and play some calming meditation music.
✨Aim 5 minutes and build time on slowly. The brain has to be conditioned to do this because unfortunately, we all have a bit of wild squirrel brain which doesn't allow us to stop running our thoughts.
✨ Feeling discomfort and pain can make it difficult to stay focused on meditating. Some will agree with me but I think lying down while meditating can be very grounding and so what if you fall asleep during your self practice.
✨ Notice everytime your thoughts wonder and bring yourself back to the present moment by counting your breaths.
Final tip: Keep it simple and keep it short (for a now) 🦋✨
