This is something I see more often nowadays and receive many questions about…
👩🍼Breastfeeding during pregnancy or tandem feeding:👩🍼
Breastfeeding during a healthy pregnancy is usually safe and won't affect you, your unborn baby, or your older child. Your body will continue to produce enough milk to nourish your older child while also providing nutrients for your unborn baby. As you start producing colostrum, the taste of the milk might change. You should consult your doctor or midwife if you're in a higher-risk category, such as if you:
🤰Have had a miscarriage in the past or a history of early miscarriages
🤰Are at risk of preterm labor
🤰Are expecting twins, triplets, or more
🤰Are experiencing problems in the first trimester
