Children's classes are fun filled, while we learn about our environment, our anatomy, do math, become aware of our bodies, get strong and healthy, get creative and even explore different cultures. We learn about our emotions, we can do yoga anywhere and anytime and how yoga can help us be calm or energized. Over all - Kids can look forward to loads of fun and get what they need most in our busy lifestyles full of cellphones and computers: Learning to calm themselves, help with digestion, help to maintain better postures and strengthen core muscles. This is the journey, and it's not the destination that counts when encouraging children to start a yoga practice. By spending time with your child practicing yoga, you are planting the seed for a lifelong interest in yoga and all of its health and mind-body connection benefits.

Are You Doing Pigeon Pose Correctly?
Many people make small mistakes in yoga that can lead to discomfort or injury. Here’s a quick visual guide to correct your form in the Pigeon Pose!👇

🔴 Common Mistake (Top Image):
– Hips are rotated out of alignment
– Back thigh is turned outward
👉 This puts unnecessary pressure on your lower back and knees.

✅ Correct Form (Bottom Image):
– Front knee is bent properly to square your hips with the front of the mat
– Back thigh faces straight down toward the mat
👉 This keeps your hips aligned and helps you get the full stretch safely.

💡 Tip: Always focus on alignment over depth. Proper form = safer & more effective practice!

What an amazing group of Women!
What an amazing event!

I am so humbled to have been part of the Woman's day ~ Two Day ~ Wine And Yoga event hosted and organized by the Ladies of the Round Table, Jeffreys Bay. They created this lovely event for funding for, and donations of, diapers and sanitary pads in aid of underprivileged moms and ladies. How incredible!

Our Story

Marjolein became a Certified Children's Yoga Teacher in September 2014 after completing all three levels of "Children's Yoga Teacher Training – YogaBeez UK”. She also completed a Mindfulness and Meditation Course with Tania Ferreira from Chilled out Child. Thus completing 200h through Yoga Alliance International. Since then she has introduced children's yoga classes successfully both privately and in schools.

She completed her Hatha Yoga Adult Teacher’s Training through the Bihar School of Yoga, certifying her to 300h though Yoga Alliance International.

Marjolein is committed to creating a space for adults and children to come as they are, a space where they can simply “be”. A space to be free from anxiety, judgement, pressures – peers, school and home, without constant competition and being overwhelmed by technology. She is soft natured, fun, caring and kind, these traits can be experienced in her gentle, flowing, fun-filled classes The well-being of her students are very important to her. She takes great care to create balanced sessions, leaving students feeling refreshed, free from mental clatter, having less body aches and pains, energized and looking forward to the next session.

She believes yoga can help us connect with who we are; allowing our inner beauty to shine in an environment where our thoughts make a difference.
