LLOYD: Rodney Hearns (fondly known as Rod) formerly from Wicklow Farm, Komga, passed away peacefully at the Love Care Centre on 18 January 2026, at the age of 79 years, after a period of illness, faced with grace and courage.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Liz; son Greg; daughter Kate; daughter-in-law Lindsay; ex son-in-law Gary; grandchildren Emma, Adam, Ethan and Joseph; his twin sisters Lynette & Jeanette; and late sister Marilyn (Tyne) and all his extended family and friends.

A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at the Stirling Presbyterian Church, Cecil Lloyd Street, Stirling, East London, on Thursday, 29 January 2026 at 11 am.

For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed on the following link: https://youtube.com/live/fuFLqEWW83E. His cremation will take place privately.
