Dr. Ntuli is a qualified Paediatrician passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and supporting families in achieving optimal health outcomes for their young ones. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree (Bsc) and Higher Certificate in Education (HDE), followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Walter Sisulu University. Dr. Ntuli subsequently completed a Fellowship of the College of Paediatrician (FcPaeds (SA) from the College of Medicine South Africa, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Echocardiography (PGDCE).

She specializes in the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents (birth to 13 years), addressing a range of health issues specific to these age groups. Dr. Ntuli's services include conducting well-baby developmental assessments, assessment, diagnosis, and management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as scholastic assessments. Additionally, she has a special interest in Paediatric Cardiology ("little hearts"), where she performs cardiac echocardiograms and refers to cardiologists if necessary.

Dr. Ntuli is excited about providing these services to support the health and well-being of children and help families navigate the challenges of paediatric care.

This month, Dr. McCausland, our General Surgeon, played a pivotal role in assisting future doctors with surgical training as part of the Basic and Essential Surgical Skills Training 2025 (BESST). The BESST course is designed to provide young doctors with hands-on experience and essential skills in surgery, helping shape the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr. McCausland's involvement in the course highlights the importance of mentorship and expert guidance in surgical training. By sharing his expertise with young doctors, Dr. McCausland is contributing to the development of skilled surgeons who will provide quality care to patients. Surgical training programs like the BESST course are crucial for young doctors to gain practical experience and build confidence in their skills. With the support of experienced surgeons like Dr. McCausland, these future doctors are better equipped to handle the challenges of surgical practice.

Dr. Zovuyo Mgoduka is a qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with strong commitment to advancing equitable and high-quality musculoskeletal care. She obtained her medical degree (MBChB) from Walter Sisulu University in 2009 and subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Health at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2016. In 2024, she qualified as a Fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FC Ortho SA) and earned her Master of Medicine (MMed) in Orthopaedics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Dr. Mgoduka joined our facility as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in general adult and paediatric trauma, arthroplasty, sports-related orthopedic injuries, and conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and hand. Her clinical approach is grounded in patient-centred care, surgical precision, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
With a passion for health equity, Dr. Mgoduka advocates for equal access to affordable, high-quality Orthopaedic services, particularly in underserved communities. She continues to advance her skills through ongoing education and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of surgeons.

We are proud to have participated in Harmony Health Doctors' Women's Day celebration. The event aimed to highlight the need for improved access to healthcare, resources, and education for the remarkable women in our community, ensuring they can lead healthier lives.

Dr. Pilani Mbuso Bungane is a highly skilled general surgeon consulting at Royal Buffalo Specialist Hospital. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Walter Sisulu University, subsequently a Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa FCS (SA), from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and a Master of Medicine in Surgery MMed (Surg) from the University of Cape Town.
