This is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND thank you to STASHA AND THE SOUTH AFRICA South-African Breastmilk Reserve FOR BEING A MIRACLE TO TEBOGO and her father. Breastmilk the life milk that grows our children. I also want to thank each and every mother who donated her time and precious milk to SAVE this 👧. The best story with ❤️

A lifeline of donor milk provided by the South African Breastmilk Reserve, gave Tebogo Mabele's daughter the essential nutrients she needed.

Annie joins us once again on the BSB socials to assess the health standards across SA.
How does healthcare quality differ between the Western and Eastern Cape - where we're both from.
Her answers leave much room for discussion regarding healthcare progression in the East.
What are your thoughts/ experiences?

While I was in Cape Town for UCT Summer School - I had the opportunity of meeting a beautiful lady and mum called Annie.
Like me, Annie is originally from the Eastern Cape. Annie shared with me that she is grateful to have a job and healthy children, but her sister is struggling trying to raise her son -a boy with Down syndrome.
As my best friend has also experienced caring for children with Down’s syndrome, I am doing my best to locate resources and support in CPT. We all need hope to continue and that is found in a community who connects with us.
I love listening to and understanding the journies of others.

Every birth is a divine gift! ✨️

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of overseeing one of the best birth journeys! I was flown into JHB by my clients to attend the birth of their second child. We initially met 3 years ago at Sandton Medi-clinic during their first birth. This time, I was there as her “lucky charm”. 🌟

Together, we were able to administer liquid gold COLOSTRUM, do skin-on-skin contact, and breastfeed all within the GOLDEN HOUR OF BIRTH. 🌞 Thank you for choosing me. 🫂

Supporting a pregnant DONKEY 🫏 in Makanda.

Whilst visiting family in Makhanda, I had to share my left over Salad 🥗 and carrots 🥕 with a heavily pregnant donkey I encountered! 🫏

🔴 Remember moms:
Towards the end of pregnancy it’s important to have small frequent meals and healthy vitamins.

P. S. Donkeys are synonymous with the Eastern Cape in South Africa 🇿🇦 .
As humans, we each have a responsibility to care for the animals in our communities.
After assisting 'mama' donkey, I shared sandwiches and water with others in need ❤️.
We each need to do our part to grow and shape our communities together 🫂 .

Thank you Mrs Police mum for SAVING A LIFE in this disaster ❤️

Thank you Mrs Police mum for SAVING A LIFE in this disaster ❤️

After Hurricane Otis devastated Acapulco, Mexico, one police officer’s compassionate act stood out amid the chaos and destruction. Arizbeth Dionisio Ambrosio, a local police officer and a nursing mother herself, showed extraordinary humanity when a desperate situation unfolded in front of her.

In the aftermath of the storm, a distressed mother approached Dionisio with her four-month-old baby, explaining that the child had not eaten for almost two days. Power outages, lack of supplies, and widespread disruption had made it impossible for her to feed her baby. The infant was weak, crying, and clearly in urgent need of nourishment.

Without hesitation, Dionisio stepped forward. Even though she was already bre@stfeeding her own child, she chose to help. Right there, in the middle of an emergency response, she bre@stfed the hungry baby. Almost immediately, the infant calmed down and began feeding, bringing visible relief to both the child and the anxious mother. What could have been a tragic situation turned into a moment of hope and care.

A photograph capturing this powerful act quickly spread across social media. People from around the world praised Dionisio for her empathy, courage, and selflessness. Many called her actions a true example of what it means to serve and protect, not just through authority, but through compassion.

City officials also took notice. In recognition of her remarkable kindness and dedication, authorities promoted Arizbeth Dionisio Ambrosio to the rank of suboficial (sub-officer). The promotion honored not only her bravery during the disaster, but also her willingness to put humanity first in a critical moment.

Her story became a symbol of kindness during crisis, reminding people that even in the darkest times, simple human compassion can save lives and inspire countless others.
