Whether your belief is in traditional medicine or alternative medicine, the bottom line is that the human body IS capable of healing itself ~ Naturally! I was unaware that I personally could do anything about my health, but for exercise. I thought if I were sick, that is just how it was. I'd go to the doctor to get a prescription DRUG, and wait it out. If that didn't work, I'd get a different prescription DRUG, or quite possibly another prescription DRUG, along with the one that wasn't quite doing the trick.
But, then I learned that every 90 days the body builds a brand new bloodstream, every 11 months billions of new soft cells are made, and every two years new bones. Sounds too good to be true, I know. It actually IS that easy, if we just let our bodies do what they were meant to do. We do have the option to gain better health for ourselves, if we feed our body what it needs to repair, rejuvenate, and heal.
For instance, when we sleep at night, our body goes through the cleansing cycle, ridding itself of the toxins absorbed during the day. So it is best not to eat before bedtime, because your body will have to digest whatever you consumed, when it is actually time to cleanse. Best to be in bed by 10:00 pm, because your body clock cleans from 11 to 5, so say Chinese proverb. While you are sleeping, you are not eating, so you are fasting. The first meal you have is breakfast, which means you break/fast. As someone who uses logic in the equation, this makes perfect sense to me.
Personal Note: Drugs are not meant to be put in the human body, whether they are Prescripiton DRUGS, or Street DRUGS. (Ever notice how the word DRUG has been dropped, and we now refer to just a prescription?) Harmful DRUGS are added to some foods or beverages, and must be avoided at all costs. We teach children not to do Drugs, but unfortunately we do not educate parents not to eat DRUGS.
Pharmacies in other countries are known as DRUG stores.
