🖤Melanoma is type of skin cancer that starts in the pigment producing cells of our skin, the ones that give our skin it’s colour. 🖤 These cells grow deeper into the layers of our skin and have the ability to migrate to other parts of the body, spreading the cancer, making melanoma one of the most serious types of skin cancer. 🖤 Knowing what to look out for and detecting melanomas early is of great importance.
It is NOT ‘just skin cancer’ 🖤.
