Where do I start ⁉️
New to exercise? Here is an idea on where to start.
Exercise isn’t about going hard, it’s about going smart.
If you’re new to movement, start with these foundations:
1️⃣Start with an assessment, not a comparison. Your body, history, injuries, and lifestyle matter. A proper assessment helps identify where your body needs support before intensity is added.
2️⃣ Master movement before load. Learning how to squat, hinge, push, pull, rotate and brace correctly builds confidence and reduces injury risk.
3️⃣ Build consistency before intensity. 2–3 well-planned sessions a week done consistently will outperform random high-intensity workouts every time.
4️⃣ Strength is your base. Strong muscles protect joints, improve posture, and make everyday tasks easier, especially as we age.
5️⃣ Progress is individual. There is no “one-size-fits-all” start point. Exercise should meet you where you are.
