Joining the trend but ✨VACANCY STYLE✨

I’m looking for a warm, playful and curious Occupational Therapist to join my paediatric practice in Witbank. My work focuses on sensory integration (ASI), DIR/Floortime and play-based therapy, helping children with sensory processing, emotional regulation, school readiness and neurodivergent profiles feel successful in their everyday lives.

- Half-day position with potential to grow
- SI trained, or interest in SI would be beneficial (The practice will fund the Sensory Integration (SI) course for the right candidate)
- School-based, willing to travel to schools in town
- Instead of a formal interview, shortlisted applicants will be invited to an observation therapy session.
- Post comm-serve welcome to apply.

I have some bittersweet news

4 years ago, on 1 March 2021, just two months after the birth of my little boy, I opened my practice in Middelburg. It was scary and exciting and the biggest dream come true, and I have been truly blessed, but it is time to say goodbye to Middelburg.

Curae Occupational Therapy will be moving to Witbank (Emalahleni) full-time from May 2025.

ATTENTION MIDDELBURG AND WITBANK

I will be doing School Readiness Assessments for grade RR and grade R children during the school holidays. It is a comprehensive assessment which tests neccisary skills to determine if a child is ready to progress to formal school (Grade R/ Grade 1)

When does a child need a school readiness assessment?
- If you are worried that your child might struggle to adjust to formal school
- If your child’s birthday is later in the year
- If your child has a history of developmental difficulties (delayed milestones)
- If you want peace of mind to send your child to formal school.

Middelburg: 23 and 25 Sept (5 slots)
Witbank: 26 September. (4 slots)
