An explanation for those who might still be confused regarding the three ballots for election day…
In this election you will get 3 ballots:
- National
- Regional
- Provincial
NATIONAL:
This is who you vote for as to who you would want to govern the country. This ballot decides 200 out of the 400 seats for the National Assembly (Parliament). This ballot will only have political parties on it.
REGIONAL:
This is also who you vote for as to who you would want to govern the country but this ballot decides the OTHER 200 out of 400 seats for the National Assembly (Parliament). This ballot will have political parties on it as well as independent candidates. These independent candidates are individuals who aren't part of any political party.
PROVINCIAL:
This is who you vote for as to who you would want to govern the province you reside in. This ballot decides the seats for the provincial legislature. This ballot will have political parties on it as well as independent candidates. These independent candidates are individuals who aren't part of any political party.
In Conclusion:
If you support a party and want to vote for them on all three ballots then simply look for their name, logo and make your X in the box. Remember, ONE ballot, ONE vote. So you will vote once on each ballot.
