Our USAID/PEPFAR funding to protect children and adolescents living with HIV is ending this month. The future of US government funding for HIV in southern Africa is possible, but very uncertain, and with it the future trajectory of the global HIV pandemic.

Founded by George W. Bush, the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief was taken out of the list of agencies that lost previously pledged funds. But its future is far from certain.

Your support is helping us make a difference to youth living with HIV:
"I realized that I am not alone, facing an HIV diagnosis - there are other kids too... There were people concerned about me, caring for me, for the situation I was in. I had HOPE that there are people that take care of me, who would not discriminate against me, my HIV status... I do not have to be ashamed of who I am. "
