Something I’ve struggled with in the past was trying to figure out what words to target with my kids. What what going to give them the ‘biggest bang for their buck’ 💵⁣⁣

When targeting verbs we typically go with actions they are most likely to perform each day: eat, brush, walk, run, etc. I had kind of forgotten about that whole academic side of verbs until this study reminded me.⁣⁣

Our kids hear words like: sort, arrange, label, illustrate, identify, etc all day at school, even in Kindergarten! Incorporating these more ‘academic’ verbs into your mix can be just what your word list needs.⁣⁣
