Trips to Cape Point Nature Reserve:
The residents had a lovely day, the weather was perfect to enjoy good company and a lot of beautiful fresh air. After Cape Point, a very tasty lunch was had at The Simon's Town Country Club. From there a drive over Red Hill to see the most beautiful view of Simon's Town. Mr. Egan- Fowler told us his experience with "Just Nuisense" which brought us to the Grave of the famous Navy Dog. Mr Fowler saluted the grave. Back to the bus and on to Camel Rock for more foto's. Then on to Kommetjie for some desert. Everyone was telling each other about themselves and some good history came out.
Thanks to all who participated in the weeks excursions.
A big THANKS to Mrs. Tailford for allowing the trips, and to Marthie and Zaid for the entertainment.... You are STARS.

On Friday 29th June we had a "MINI MARKET" at Nerina to give everybody a preview of what is to come at the end of September's Market. The Knitting Bees sure made a good show of their knitted goods - beautiful work by our crafters.
The Teddies were a hit and in fact all went very well. A very enjoyable day all in all.

Birthday celebrations in the Nerina Coffee Shop...…. CONGRATULATIONS to these very special and beautiful ladies. They all turn 90 years young during 2018. Messrs Ann Lambert, Ellen Reap, Berte Loedolff, Mervia Powell, Barbara Ellis, Hazel Valentine, Kathy Spencer, Aneke Muir and Ansie Raath. Serving them their tea/coffee were Pam (our yummy cake maker) and Nadirah her supervisor.
