Two products. Two completely different mechanisms. And far too often, they're being used interchangeably or described dishonestly.

Filler provides immediate, precise volume and structural change. It does not build collagen. Sculptra stimulates gradual collagen production over months. It does not sculpt, lift, or contour.

When that distinction isn't made clearly, results suffer. Faces become puffy instead of defined. Patients end up overfilled but still ageing. Or they wait months for collagen that was never coming from the product they received.

This isn't a matter of preference. It's anatomy, biomechanics, and time course.
If your consultation doesn't explain the difference between these two products clearly, you're not receiving advanced clinical care.

Toxin longevity isn't just about units, dilution, or technique. Although those things matter enormously.

It's also about the system you're treating.
Inflammation levels, sleep quality, nutrient absorption, stress, cortisol, and immune reactivity all influence how your neuromuscular system responds to treatment. These aren't fringe considerations. They're real biological variables that affect how long your results last and how your tissue responds.

This doesn't mean I can promise extended results. What it means is that I ask more questions, look at the bigger picture, and think beyond the syringe.

When I understand what's going on in your body, not just your face, I can set more realistic expectations, personalise your treatment plan, and make sense of why two patients with identical treatment can have very different outcomes.

Functional thinking doesn't replace good injecting. It makes good injecting better.
